Hi, my name is Rebeccah Tuck, most people just call me Beccah. I am one of the veterinary assistants here at Yolo. I have been in the vet field for going on 7 years! I knew from a young age I wanted to help animals, so once I graduated high school I went to tech school and have been doing it ever since. I have two dogs, Milo who is a boxer, and Maverick who is a pitty. Outside of work I like spending days on the couch with them or anything outdoors, if weather permits.

Our Team

The friendly, professional staff at Yolo Veterinary Clinic is made up of dedicated individuals who have made it our mission to help pets live long, healthy lives. To be true to that mission; the hospital team relies on every team member, each equally important, in helping us deliver the best patient and client experience. We are fortunate enough to have multiple hospitals in our network should your pet need more advanced care.

Hi, my name is Geneva Thomas. I have been a receptionist here at Yolo Veterinary Clinic. I have been here for four years to help you and your pet. I love animals and decided to get my degree in Veterinary Technology. I graduated from Carrington College in 2016. During my free time I like to spend time with my 9 year old daughter, craft and play with our multiple cats and dogs.

Geneva Thomas, Office and Veterinary Assistant

Hi, I’m Edie Ford! I am a veterinary assistant here at Yolo Veterinary Clinic. I have worked in the veterinary field for over 6 years and have worked as a vet assistant, kennel tech as well as the lead technician at an internal medicine clinic. I am a Carrington College graduate and continued my education at Sacramento State University with a major in Biology. I have a variety of pets at home including a Chihuahua mix named Franky, and my two cats, Charlie and Penny. My ranch in Grass Valley is where my reptiles and working dogs live. My passion for animal care came from family generations of animal lovers.

Hi, my name is Lisa Corcoran; I have been with Yolo Vet since December of 2001. I am the mother of one daughter and two sons. I have nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. I absolutely love my job and couldn't think of a better place to work or bring my animals, of which I have many. I have six cats: Gypsy, Brady, Olivia, Giselle, Baby Girl and Odis that I have adopted since working here. I also have four dogs that are Chihuahua's: Tibbs, Little Guy, Denali and my newest addition Pip. The family atmosphere is what I love the most about Yolo Vet. We look forward to having you and your pets join our family!!!

Dr. Kirsten Murphy, DVM

Dr. Murphy here, wow, I have been working with Yolo Veterinary Clinic for eight and a half years now! I am a UC Davis vet school graduate, class of 2000. I have been practicing small animal medicine since that time, the bulk of my time currently spent performing dental and surgical procedures for your pets here at YVC. I have had a strong interest in veterinary dentistry since I started practice, and have gained a LOT of experience over the years. It is very gratifying to provide often immediate relief to my patients after extracting painful, infected teeth.

In my free time, I share time with my husband Brian, koolie dog Nene, two kitties Limpet and Mr. Biscuit, and a small flock of backyard hens who amuse me to no end. If you see a red sidecar roaring around the region, that's me, Brian and Nene- exploring northern California backroads together is our latest passion.

Dr. Victoria Hsu was born and raised in the Los Angeles area. She attended UCLA for her undergraduate studies and graduated from the UC Davis school of veterinary medicine. She has special interests in surgery, urgent care/emergency medicine, but also enjoys wellness care to help pets thrive for their entire lives. Dr. Hsu has completed a “Fear Free” certification course and strives to minimize the stress of veterinary appointments for her patients. She has spent much of her career practicing in the greater Sacramento area, but did briefly reside in Houston as well, where she practiced emergency medicine. She is thrilled to be back in Northern California, where she resides with her wife (who is also a veterinarian), two rescue pugs, and rescue cat. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her surprisingly athletic pugs and trying out new recipes.

Hi! My name is Dacey Hicks and I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember. I participated in 4h and FFA with large animals from age 10 til graduation, and after high school I began working with dog training, grooming, and boarding. At home I have a Golden retriever, a variety of morphs of Ball Pythons, a Brazilian Rainbow Boa, Leopard Geckos, a Sulcata Tortoise, and an Argentine Black and White Tegu. When I’m not with my animals you can find me on the water paddle boarding, or at my local gym weight lifting.

My name is Jessica Sheppard, although many call me "Shep". I attended Carrington College from 2014-2016 and received my RVT license shortly after in January 2017. I also have a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Sacramento State. I've worked exclusively in small animal practice and enjoy surgery and dental procedures. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, playing golf (badly) and spending time with my grumpy cat Indiana.
